No. Just… No.

I WAS WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO POINT THAT OUT. I’m glad you did anon.
However, I still hold to my original statement. Those timeshift stones have absolutely zero connection to the Sheikah. I still don’t think it had anything to do with the eye of truth. The eye of truth was portrayed elsewhere. The REAL eye of truth, and the symbol you and I are talking about here are not the same. Why would they have 2 different eyes of truth in the same game? If all the rest of the symbols resembled this one, then I would concede that you are right. But alas anon. You are still not right. Not saying that I AM right, but I wasn’t wrong ;)

See? Not the same. Even though they are fairly similar, I still do not believe that the top image is the eye of truth.

Dear bitchless fan,
Good call.

People will never stop whining. It’s human nature to find SOMETHING to bitch about. Now people will just be whining about how that timeline doesn’t fit with their theory blah blah blah. (which is NOT what I am doing. I’m simply saying that the third tier makes sense, but only if Link failed as a kid in OOT, and he didn’t.)
I know. I just wish they would have left it ambiguous, and let us all theorize til we die. Revealing the “timeline” was a bad move and sucked a lot of fun out of being a Zelda fan.
I think kid Link in OOT could fail to kill Ganondorf if he did not possess the Master Sword. The Master Sword was only given to that Link as an adult because the child version of him could not wield it. Also do not forget that special arrows are required to kill Ganondorf and that Link could not wield bow and arrows as a child. Crap excuse I know but it’s something.
I fully realize that kid link would have failed, but the fact is… He didn’t. He didn’t ever fight Ganondorf. So to base an ENTIRE TIMELINE on that circumstance is so unbelievably lame.
I’m not so sure that that really makes a difference.
Also, I am still kind of rejecting the notion that Link failed to defeat Ganondorf. I think it’s a shit way of justifying that part of the timeline. It DIDNT happen. It’s a hypothetical idea that doesn’t actually happen in any of the games, that nintendo is using to make their timeline make sense. It’s dumb and I hate it.
ANY Link can kill Ganondorf. We know this because he’s done it in EVERY single game where Ganondorf has been the villain.
To play more Zelda. Same as every year.
